October Update - Wincheap Ward |
||
|
Dear Resident
Following a recent community survey, the Neighbourhood Policing Team has reviewed the feedback received from residents. As a result, we have agreed to maintain our three key priorities for the ward:
Over the coming weeks, myself and PC Angell will be looking to carry out targeted operations aimed at tackling off-road bikes, nuisance vehicles and speeding concerns across the ward. We are currently planning enforcement and prevention activities, and we will provide a further update once this work has been completed to share the outcomes with the community.
We continue to proactively patrol Wincheap and remain committed to robustly dealing with drug-related offences whenever intelligence or evidence allows. Information from residents is invaluable in helping us identify those involved in criminal activity and target our resources where they are needed most.
If you have any information about suspected drug dealing, nuisance vehicles or any other issues affecting your area, please report it to us. Every piece of information helps build a clearer picture.
If you would prefer to remain anonymous, you can report information through Crimestoppers. Crimestoppers is completely independent of the police, does not record your details and passes information directly to us, allowing you to provide information anonymously.
Seasonal Community Advice 🍂As we move further into autumn and the evenings become darker, please consider the following crime prevention tips: Report any suspicious activity, especially around vehicles, garages or sheds, as soon as possible.
Thank you to everyone who continues to engage with us and complete our surveys. Your feedback helps us understand the issues that matter most to the Wincheap community and allows us to focus our efforts where they will have the greatest impact. | ||
